Corrugated and cardboard are two distinct packaging materials with notable differences. Corrugated packaging, often referred to as corrugated cardboard, is made of three layers: an inside liner, an outside liner, and a corrugated medium sandwiched between them. This structure imparts strength and rigidity, making it suitable for shipping and protecting goods. On the other hand, cardboard, also known as paperboard, consists of a single layer of thick paper and is typically used for lighter packaging, such as cereal boxes or shoeboxes.

Corrugated packaging is renowned for its durability, crush resistance, and stacking strength, making it ideal for transporting fragile or heavy items. Cardboard, while less robust, is suitable for items that don’t require as much protection. Additionally, corrugated packaging is available in various flute sizes, offering flexibility for different packaging needs, while cardboard typically has a consistent thickness.

In summary, corrugated packaging is a multi-layered, sturdy material designed for heavy-duty applications, while cardboard is a single-layer material suitable for lighter packaging requirements.

Paper pallets, also known as cardboard pallets or corrugated pallets, serve as a sustainable alternative to traditional wooden or plastic pallets in the packaging industry. They are primarily used for safe and efficient transportation and storage of goods.

Key uses of paper pallets include shipping and transportation within warehouses and distribution centers, as their lightweight nature makes them cost-effective for freight shipments. They are also favored for international shipping due to compliance with ISPM 15 regulations, eliminating the need for heat treatment or fumigation. Paper pallets are commonly used for retail displays, enhancing product visibility, and providing an eco-friendly packaging solution. They are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable, aligning with sustainability goals.

Moreover, paper pallets can be customized to meet specific packaging requirements, making them a versatile choice for businesses.
